Italy Halo pple, Greetings from Rome :) I m still in Rome now .. E last time i was here was 3 yrs back so i miss tis plc ll be back on Sat n i m looking forward to be back for e weekend becoz i miss my hubby Rome is a beautiful plc n wat makes it beautiful is e history behind it .. Remember E warriors tat once conquer almoz e whole of Europe .. I love history so i m glad i m here now .. E architecture here cant be compared to anywhere else .. Some buildings or remnants were alreadi a few thousand years old so u can imagine how great effort e pple here construct buildings/palaces .. However good food can be a prob here .. Ironically, e bez Italian food cant be found in Italy, at least to my bez knowledge .. BUT the pizzas can be reali yummy in some joints undeniably. Gelatos is a muz here .. i ate gelatos here almoz everyday becoz gelatos joints can be found almoz anywhere here n they reali yummy .. Besides havin a gelato in a hot weather compensates for everything n i hav a great weakness for dessert :)                              On our way to e colossium ..   E Colossium is so near yet so far ..   Drunk, Drunk n more drunk The weather in Singapore is reali humid .. I always need to hide in aircon places and i told hubby i rather go overseas during this period of time becoz it is too hot .. I m a person who is rather afraid of the cold but this is getting too much :( I had quite a fulfilling day yesterday ... Hubby n myself did quite a lot of things from the mornin like 5am becoz we got to send daddy to the airport and b4 he checked in, we went for breakfast .. Hav a fun time dad :) Oh yah, hubby n myself are moving to smewhere in e East .. more convenient for us to meet up wif e musketeers and also it is nearer to e airport .. Lately, we were quite busy sourcing for furniture and also discussing on e deco of our room :) .. wanna make it a cosy little love nest and wats more, we are neighbours wif Azhar .. Beta becoz whenever i m on flight, hubby can hav meals wif him MUAHAHA .. I hav trouble packin my clothes in i think .. one cupboard is definitely not enough .. a fraction of my clothes r @ Z's plc and they r alreadi overwhelming, diff to pack them to our new plc .. Imagine, i bring all my clothes from home .. reali no plc to put loh .. So i think i need @ least 2 big cupboards :) 5 yrs passed wif the blinking of e eye, a few of us celebrated our 5 yrs of knowing one another thru our company @ Conrad, Oscars for Champagne Brunch .. e champagne is fantastical :) We drank loads b4 we head to Orchard to sing @ Partyworld .. N i reali becoming more n more auntie loh .. lately i like to buy clothes which are much more bigger in size becoz they r comfy .. Z's sis commented that the clothes i wore recently r more boy boy .. n i joke wif Z that these clothes that i m wearing now can be wore when i m pregnant in future if i do also HAA .. kill 2 birds wif one stone    My fav .. desserts :) Yummy!!   After partyworld, was shopping @ Ikea n chilling out wif e musketeers @ our fav spot, D&B ..Val has flight super earli in e morning but still i drag her along .. she din take picts becoz no make-up HAA ... Camwhoring session b4 Crystin came .. Started wif lychee martinis ..   After that, it was chivas n we drank neat and we kept DA .. so not long aft, we were quite gone, usual routine  In e toilet, omgdness, my eyebags r damn jia lat AHhhhhh @ Memebers and all our silly actions started .. actually i thot to myself aft clubbing .. how long more m i gn to club, get drunk n all .. how long ll i be dn all these silly n funie actions in front of our cameras .. No way man bleah  After a nite of tipsyness, we went for porridge @ Upp Serangoon e next day ..Act our plan was to go joggin but it all fails becoz we overslept .. so straight to lunch instead   Yummy porridge ... After lunch, we were off to Serangoon Gardens for coffee n there Val n me goes again ..Blabbering .. the guys juz cant stand the both of us whenever we are together HAA    It was my turn to plan for Jan's bday so i chose an authentic Jap rest to hav dinner .. N the final plc i picked was Sui Japanese rest @ Craig Road .. E food is good loh :) n they mostly serve their regulars   Jan was pretty late ... Li n me were so hungry that we ordered a bowl of garlic rice 1st b4 Jan came ... E big spread of food we had :) After dinner, we went to Blue Mist for dessert n drinks ..Zack n Jan's bf then came to join us   Finally, the venue for the nite for Z n myself was DnB ..went there to meet the musketeers for a relaxing drinking session   I was called up for a long stay Perth ... N coincidentally Dennicce was there so we met up wif JS for a great Escape to Perth :)  Havin breko or in fact brunch @ City CentreN after that, JS came to pick us up to Scarborough Beach :)              Duper hungry after that so off we went to Fremantle to hav Churros .. Yummy n my fav :) Sinful Churros n Choco cake After that, we went to sing K @ North Bridge   I was super hungry .. n was waiting for Dennicce to buy me food :)N finally e food came! Winter .. gn on to Spring Some recent picts which i took .. has sorta njoyed my life ... but m always feeling tired without knowing y .. Thankfully for Zack who has been always there for me whenever i m feeling emotionally down .. Back to my old line has made me see life in a different light whenever i m alone overseas. I have seen colleagues who hav changed a great deal, be it in mentality or physical appearance .. Some changed for the beta, some became worse but who are we to judge? E economic turmoil which the world is experiencing is causing everyone uncertainty .. No one knows when he/she ll lose their job and for those who have juz graduated, they dun even know when they will be able to find their jobs ... Less pple are njoying themselves as more fear is being instilled in them ... Lets juz hope things will turn beta in the near future although there have been loads of pessimistic comments. Over the weekend, i was not feeling well .. Went to the doctor and he certified that i had caught a virus infection .. Thankfully, i got much beta after the med .. Oh yah, did i forget to mention that Z n me went to catch 'Marley n Mi' ... Towards the last part, i was crying like a baby loh .. i totally cant control my emotions n after the show, i was telling Z that if one day Jackie (Z's family dog) passed on, i ll be crying like mad .. Dogs are so loyal creatures and like it a not, when u owned one, the dog will have become like ur kid ... Whenever i m feeling down and has no one to talk to, i know i have Jackie even though sometimes he barked when i m in a super bad mood .. but i know i always hav him to talk to n he ll be able to cheer me up wif his silly and juz sitting by my side :) I love dogs but i dunno if i have the responsibility to take care of one .. N coincidentally Z is borned in the year of 'Dog'. HAA  Preparing to go out for High Tea @ Equinox wif Mala :)    The high tea spread is great ... Starts @ 3.30 and ends @ 5 .. Booking muz be made b4hand as there can be quite a high vol of regulars   Mala n Charis :)  I bought a Heart-Shaped pan from Amsterdam as i wanted to make a surprise 'Ai Xin breakfast' for Z but i m always tired whenever i come back from flights .. so eventually Z made this breakfast for me haa but it is so sweet isnt it? Met up wif Jennifer and oh my she has 3 kids alreadi .. and this is her 2nd child, Daven .. he is so big alreadi and super cute. Great achivement gal ... 30 years old wif 3 kids :)   On the same flight wif my dearez Shirleen again after so many years ... Such a coincidence that i was called up and she was rostered for the flight .. Catch up reali soon again Babe! BBQ @ AZHAR's PLC ... Seems like a big party for us becoz we have planned way ahead for this :)  The nite b4, Z n me were preparing the 'herb n spices cheese' i bought from AMS ..E cheese was so hard and i dunno how to cut it so Hubby is in action :)    Taking silly picts while preparing ...  B4 we headed down to Azhar's plc, all of us went to do groceries in the morning separately ..Zack n myself were responsible for the bbq utensils and on our own, we prepare 'Cheese n Grapes' .. my idea but Z's doing .. Love's parents were very nice to cook yummy curry n bee hoon to add on to our alreadi overloaded stuff  On our way there n when we were there, it started drizzling and eventually pour heavily ..we cant start bbq so we were there drinking and playing cards, hoping that the rain will stop soon ... the guys were still making fun saying that we have 2 options .. 1) Azhar will go n cook all the meat in his kitchen n bring them them for us to njoy in the rain OR 2) We will go to the rest 'HUA YU WEE' opp his plc to eat n all of us will split the food n go back to cook .. HAA But all these were not in action becoz .... they guys decided to bbq in the rain when it got smaller :) so we still get to njoy our yummilicous acidic food in the end!  Sean took this pict n i dunno y .. but i love this pict :) Njoying red wine in the rain by the poolside is the bez :)  Mi wif the 'Cheese n Grapes' .. half of them were gone becoz we had nothing to do while waiting for the rain to stop .. so we were drinking red wine n eating them .. Had loads of good comments for the cheese i bought .. Yeah! OK .. the guys r starting the fire while the gers will taking shelter n njoying themselves wif the food n drinks I went to disturb them while they were working hard .. FINALLY WE REACH ISTANBUL ...  Had dinner @ a plc which sells Turkish Food ..   Drinks after dinner .. nothing to do so we played cards     On our way to Blue Mosque .. E Famous Blue Mosque in Istanbul       Inside the Blue Mosque...  Heading to the grand Palace near Blue Mosque ...  Outside e Grand Palace ..  After sight-seeing, we went to a restaurant nearby for lunch ...Super yummy loh ..   Overlooking the Blue Mosque from the restaurant .. N the final itenary is the Grand Bazaar :)Gonna go to bed now .. Gdnite! Kinship/Frendship When i was reporting for my flight on Sun nite, i saw Jie Mei @ Control .. She was reporting for her London flight too .. She left me a msg on MSN while i was out having my dinner in Dubai, saying her grandad has passed away .. She wanted to go home badly and thankfully she has alreadi paxed back home .. I m reali concerned about her becoz she treasures kinship greatly and i knoe the moment she got the news, she wanted to fly back at once .. My greatest Condolences Jie Mei .. i will call u once i m back. I m in Dubai now rotting away .. watching my dvd. Dubai hasnt change much since the last time i came which was 3 yrs back Currently i m catching Tang Xin Feng Bao (1) .. Has finished catching Tang Xin Feng Bao (2) b4 i catch the one series. Was cryin away thruout e whole show .. This series is about family ties and i m reali touched by the love the family members shared and how much they r willing to bite their humility juz to get the whole family going .. Lately, certain things have strained the relationship between my sis n mi .. When i watch this show, i thought about my sis .. We have spend about almoz 20 years of our lives under the same roof, is our kinship so weak that all these have to happen. I wanna eat humble pie as much as i can but wif my character, i snap easily .. Probably becoz of what i have been through and being in the kinda lines i have been working at, i dun trust a lot of pple and often i see things as they are so those who are closed to me will be reali closed and those who dun like me will reali hate me becoz i can be a real bitch at times .. But in any case, i treasure kinship and frenship greatly so sometimes it reali saddens me when i dun see things going my way .. I m not one who cries easily, moz of the times when i sobbed were be the times i catch all these shows .. u can say i m silly but i have to let go of my emotions sometimes becoz moz of the times even when i m angry, i will juz try to ignore my emotions and carry on wif life .. Dad n Mum know my temper so whenever they saw that i dun do things rite, they will juz say me once and they will not mention the matter again becoz they know i snap easily .. I m gonna build a family of my own pretty soon so it's time i learn how to keep one going .. B4 my 8 days flight, i had a chill out time wif the gers @ Crazy Elephant .. Feeling super hungry even when i have had dinner so we ordered Nachos and they were reali tasty .. we finish the nachos @ the same time we finish our red wine ..  @ Hubby's plc b4 heading out ..       Aft Crazy Elephant, Yuanz n Christy wanted to party @ Attica so off we went ...Seems like a long time since i partied .. the last time i party was on New Years Eve n i muz head to Zouk soon lest my membership dun kena renewed haa  Familiar faces @ Attica .. it is pretty fun and the music is good .. we had a btl of white downstairs b4 we headed up to the 2nd floor .. but we are all pretty tired .. I think i m reali getting old loh .. I used to club every week for 3 times but now i cant stay too late becoz i get tired easily .. But Hubby always tell me i cant stay away from the clubbing scene for too long becoz it is in me .. Max 2 months Muahaha he knows me well :)    Someone treated us to Vodka Cranberry .. Personally, i dislike Vodka Yeeks  After Attica, i headed to town to meet Love .. i was super hungry again so i dragged him to Swensens to have my fav Salmon n Mushroom baked rice ..I finished the whole thing n hubby was saying i muz be damn hungry becoz i seldom finish my meals :)   Till then, Hapie Valentines/Friendship Day :)After CNY Hey frends, time passes fast .. It has been almost 2 months since i have updated my blog .. Reali busy ... A lot of occasions and i gotta get used to flying again so moz of the time i was tired ... CNY is almoz gonna be over .. n it is gonna be a mundane time for moz of us again. I did have quite an njoyable CNY although the mood of CNY is almoz gone but thankfully i have a wonderful bf, family and frends to accompany me :) I was pretty lucky becoz i got called up for New Delhi b4 CNY and i have the eve and the 1st day of Lunar New Year off :) And on the 2nd day of CNY, i got called up for Auckland and off i went for 4 days ... Rotted in the hotel room moz of the time becoz i brought my HKG drama series there to watch and i was crying like a silly baby becoz the show is damn touching .. 4 days passed in a glance n i was back in SIN .. Brought a btl of wine back to njoy it wif hubby ... But b4 tat i totally knocked out becoz it was a nite flight and i was exhausted ... Oh yah, on the same day itself, i went to Bren's plc to bai nian and aft that we played mj overnite .. And guess wat ... Hubby and mi played mj consecutively for 3 days after i m back ... Look at the picts below and u will know the details :) BACK FROM AUCKLAND ...   On the 1st nite when i came back frm Auckland, Dad n Mum ask us to join them in a RC dinner so we went loh .. At abt 9 plus, we headed to Sean's plc for a mini gathering and the guys were njoying themselves playing WII ..I wanna buy WII now that i know it is so fun and Hubby likes it too ...   The guys playing WII .. Boxing and we gers are taking picts .. As usual    After Sean's plc, we were off to Bren's plc again to play mj .. this time round, we played till 6 in the morning .. Reali knocked out after tat .. was supposed to go for my mani and pedi session but we overslept .. and when we wake up, we gotta go to Jenny's plc for mj session again :) Poor Desiree .. she kena fever and she fell of her bed b4 that :(She was very edgy yesterday .. poor ger but she is still so adorable :)   Hubby n mi took turns to play .. Play super big loh .. The Eve and the 1st day of CNY ..As i said juz now ... i touched down on the eve of CNY from Delhi .. and look at the spread of food Hubby's parents prepare .. they know i love steamboat :)  1st day of CNY .. going to bai nian .. have a few places to rush to ...   1st .. at my plc then to Hubby's granny plc and then to my granny's plc .. My family :) Dad's sisters .. of coz the one sitting beside my dad is my mum and not his sis All us !!   N all we cousins Bro was playing PS3 .. seems fun so i join in ... Mum was playing ban luck wif the rest .. OKie .. some random picts taken b4 CNY ... We had steamboat at Macpherson Area .. damn nice loh .. and economical too .. Thanks to the recommendation guys and we shall go back to eat k  After dinner, we headed to ECP Bougainvilla for some drinks ...We drank from 8 plus to 2 am loh .. damn sneh after that .. This time round, i was called up for Maldives .. super lucky :) Once we touched down and checked in, we bath and we went out for drinks till 6 in the morning loh .. With less than 6 hrs of rest, we wake up, went snorkelling, lunch, dinner and we had to check out aft tat .. Tired BUT super fun :)  Male is BEAUTIFUL :)      Went snorkelling and saw small sharks .. freak mi out  Damn beautiful sea and sand .. Aft the beach, we went to have a drink by the poolside :)  Taipei .. we went to sing KTV .. Their party world is 9 storeys high loh .. I was like WAH .. But their ktv rooms are nice, spacious and the sound system is fantastic .. After K, we went to Shilin as usual lah .. Went to buy boots and some winter wear .. Shopping is my therapy ..
